The Inn at Middleton Place Accommodations

Award winning architectural design has created a modern counterpoint to the neighboring 18th-century Middleton Place. The Inn’s distinctive architecture and simple, rustic décor focuses the visitor’s attention upon the beauty of the natural surroundings. With dramatic floor to ceiling windows that evoke a sense of living within nature and wooden plantation shutters for privacy, guests enjoy bucolic sights and sounds.

Each room is complete with handcrafted furniture, hardwood floors with braided rugs and warm cypress paneling. A wood burning fireplace adds to the country inn ambiance and can be enjoyed during the cooler months, while a 150 gallon garden tub beckons guests to relaxation. In addition to your admittance to Middleton Place, each day of your stay begins with your choice of either complimentary assorted fresh fruit, pastries and cereals or a purchased hardy, hot breakfast. Greet the sunset with a libation from the evening manager’s reception where guests are served wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres.

Woods View Guest Rooms

The Woods View Rooms are non-smoking only that have either one King, one Queen or two Twin beds. These rooms afford a guest either a woods view or a courtyard view. Each room is furnished with handcrafted furniture, hardwood floors with braided rugs, warm cypress paneling and dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows with wooden shutters. Many of our guests choose Woods View rooms for additional privacy.

River View Guest Rooms

The River View Rooms are non-smoking only and have either one King, one Queen, or two Twin beds.  These rooms are the most popular rooms at the inn and offer breathtaking views of the Ashley River and surrounding marshlands. Each room is furnished with handcrafted furniture, hardwood floors, warm cypress paneling, marble baths with European style tubs, wood burning fireplaces and dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows.

Grand Rooms

The Grand Rooms are non-smoking only and have either one King or one Queen bed.  These rooms are the largest rooms in the inn and offer views of the Ashley River or the scenic woodlands.  Each room is furnished with handcrafted furniture, hardwood floors, warm cypress paneling, marble baths with European style tubs, wood burning fireplaces and dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows. Grand Rooms incorporate a comfortable sitting area which includes a sofa and offer upgraded amenities such as CD players, VCR/DVD players, and upgraded toiletries.

The Ashley River Room

One of a kind – The Inn’s Ashley River Room is unlike all other rooms.  This room is located on the third floor level of the Lodge and is the only room that has a wrap-around deck with inspiring, birds-eye views of the Ashley River and surrounding marshlands.   Enjoy the natural sunlight and river breezes through the room's four French doors with plantation screens leading to the deck.  A large, wood-burning fireplace overlooks the entire room and from the King sized bed, enjoy watching TV on the large screen plasma. This room also has a large bathtub and separate shower, duel vanity and skylight.
